Hatia: Marking the festive occasion of Makar Sankranti, Astitva Foundation distributed food items like chooda, gur, curd, and tilkut to the poor and needy near Hatia Railway Station on January 14.
Dr. Kirti Srivastava Maji, the founder of the foundation, said, "Festivals bring true joy when shared with the less fortunate.
Astitva Foundation is committed to supporting the needy and will continue its efforts to uplift society.”
The initiative was well-coordinated by the volunteers, with over 500 people benefiting from the food distribution. The community lauded the foundation’s efforts.
Dr. Maji added that similar activities would be organized in the future to spread happiness and ensure no one is left behind during celebrations.
